Re-launch of the tender procedure for the divestment of  lignite –fired generation units of PPC S.A.

Public Power Corporation  S.A. (PPC) announces that, in accordance with L. 4533/2018 as amended and in force (the “Law”), and following the decision of its Board of Directors of 8.3.2019, re-launches the tender procedure for the sale of 100% of the share capital of “Lignitiki Melitis S.A.” and/or “Lignitiki Megalopolis S.A.”, as provided in the Law.

The Board of Directors announces that Mr George Demetriou resigned from his position as non-executive director of J&P-AVAX SA for personal reasons, which was accepted with immediate effect.

Company management thanked Mr Demetriou for the services he provided to company administration over a long period, and his significant contribution throughout his term at the Board of Directors.
