Unibios Holdings S.A. – Financial Results for FY 2025

Increase in Profit Before Tax and EBITDA

The UNIBIOS Holdings S.A. Group announced its financial results for the financial year 2025, prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

The financial year 2025 was a transitional year for the Group. This is because, in the context of implementing the long-term strategy for expanding and developing the international activities of its subsidiary Watera Group, the acquisition of 65% of OSMOSUN (now Watera), a company listed on Euronext Growth Paris, was completed during the second half of the year. The acquisition was implemented through participation in a share capital increase of the acquired company. The benefits from this strategic investment are expected to be reflected in the coming years.

In addition, the Watera Group proceeded with a significant investment in the construction of a new, modern factory on a privately owned plot in the A’ Industrial Area of Volos, which, once completed, will substantially increase the Group’s production capacity.

During FY 2025, the consolidated sales of the UNIBIOS Group amounted to EUR 13,890 thousand, compared to EUR 14,718 thousand in the previous year, representing a decrease of 5.4%. This slight decline is attributable to the inability of the Group’s factories to meet demand, combined with delays in completing the sale of produced systems.

Despite this, gross profit in absolute terms increased by 1% compared to the previous year, reaching EUR 5,905 thousand versus EUR 5,867 thousand, while the gross profit margin improved from 39.8% to 42.5%.

Profit before tax for the Group in FY 2025 amounted to EUR 2,226 thousand, compared to EUR 1,552 thousand in the corresponding period of 2024. Profit after tax amounted to EUR 1,493 thousand, compared to EUR 1,026 thousand in 2024, representing an increase of 45.5%.

The Group’s EBITDA in 2025 amounted to EUR 3,150 thousand, corresponding to 22.5% of turnover, compared to EUR 2,728 thousand, representing an increase of 15.4%.

It is noted that the results for FY 2025 include net extraordinary income of EUR 613 thousand, arising from the offsetting of extraordinary gains of EUR 1,069 thousand from the sale of real estate with extraordinary expenses related to the acquisition and restructuring of Osmosun, amounting to EUR 456 thousand. The results of the previous financial year included net extraordinary gains of EUR 791 thousand, arising from the offsetting of capital gains from the revaluation of real estate amounting to EUR 1,192 thousand with an extraordinary loss from the impairment of a subsidiary amounting to EUR 401 thousand.
