The Cyprus Popular Bank Public Co Ltd (the “Bank”), following a suggestion of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, in the context of transparency and for better information of investors due to publications referring to negotiations with Chinese investors, informs that during the last ten days of June 2012 a meeting was held in China with potential investors and the possibility of investing in the Bank's share capital was discussed.
