Cyprus Popular Bank Public Co Ltd categorically denies the allegations made on the website “bankingnews.gr” in Greece, relating to the “forced leave of the Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Christos Stylianides, and Group Chief Financial Officer, Mrs Annita Philippidou”.

It is hereby also clarified that today's Board Meeting was not ad hoc, but a regular scheduled meeting.
