Notification of change of managerial executives
Mr. George Kountouris assumes the position of General Manager of SingularLogic Software Division.
Mr. George Kountouris, that until recently was assuming the position Regional Managing Director of AVAYA Inc, has a 20 year broad experience in managerial positions in large multinational IT companies like Microsoft Hellas, 3Com Corp., Olivetti. Mr. Kountouris holds a BSc degree in Computer Science from The University of Milan, Italy.
Referring to the new executive officer Mr. John Karakadas, President and CEO of SingularLogic emphasized: "We welcome Mr. George Kountouris to the family of SingularLogic. The successful development of our Group to date and the important prospects for the future, require the continuous enhancement of our management team. The vast international IT experience of Mr. Kountouris will contribute decisively to the development of company's activities in small and medium business market, in which the company already enjoys a leading share with more than 40.000 business customers and more than 500 distribution partners throughout Greece".
Furthermore, Mr. Dimitris Kafalis, former General Manager of SingularLogic Software Division, assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer, assuming therefore responsibility for strategic development in the domains of ICT, International Markets and Corporate Development.
In order to assure the most effective continuation of company's efforts concerning Software Division, as well as the smother responsibility transition, Mr. George Kountouris will, for the time being, report to Mr. Dimitris Kafalis.
