MLS Multimedia SA: Agreement with Cyta and Teleunicom
MLS announces the agreement with Cyta and Teleunicom for the distribution of the MLS iQTalk mobile phone in the Cypriot market. Teleunicom takes over the distribution of MLS iQTalk as exclusive distributor of MLS in Cyprus whereas Cyta will have the exclusivity rights (time to market) for the first two months for the market in Cyprus. The first Greek mobile will be available to Cypriot consumers from early November via the Cyta network.
MLS iQTalk is the first greek Android mobile phone which you speak to, it understands and makes the call for you. At the same time the phone includes the leading navigation software MLS Destinator Talk & Drive with maps of Greece and Cyprus, which you tell where you want to go, it understands and leads you to your destination. Amongst others its features include an impressive 4.3-inch screen and a camera with 5MP resolution with flash and front camera for video calls.
The Cypriot smartphones market is highly dynamic and growing. Both MLS, and Teleunicom & Cyta, expect significant benefits from this cooperation. It is the common aspiration that MLS iQTalk will have the same success in the Cypriot market as it has in the Greek market.
According to the strategic planning of MLS, Cyprus is the first cross border market into which MLS iQTalk will be distributed. The Agreement with Cyta provides the purchase of a sufficient number of mobile phones to cover the branch network of the Group and its associates. Cyta holds the first position in the mobile market in Cyprus.
