METKA IS AWARDED ITS 2nd EPC PROJECT IN JORDAN
Athens, 11 October 2012: METKA S.A. is pleased to announce that it has received the Letter of Award for a second project in Jordan. The project will be carried out on a fast-track basis to provide electricity to the network in summer 2013. This second major project emphasizes the significance of Jordan as an important market and enables the company to further build on its strong regional presence.
Main characteristics of this new project are as follows:

Consortium METKA – Power Projects Ltd.
Power Projects Ltd. is the fully owned Turkish subsidiary of METKA.
2. Project Owner
Samra Electric Power Co. (SEPCO), Amman, Jordan
3. Project Title
Samra – Fast Track Simple Cycle Project
4. Project Location
Zarqa, near Amman, Jordan
5. Project Description
The project concerns the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of an Alstom GT13E2 gas turbine and related auxiliaries, with output of 146MW at site conditions.
6. Award Value
The total contract value is US$ 104 million.
7. Project Time Schedule
The project will be carried out on a fast-track basis, with commercial operation end of June 2013.
