Hellenic Postbank informs the investors that according to the Resolution No. 7/18.1.2013 of the “Resolution Measures Committee” of the Bank of Greece (Meeting 7/18.1.2013, Agenda item 3, Official Government Gazette, Issue B' 76/18.1.2013), the “banking license” of the credit institution under the trade name “TT Hellenic Postbank S.A.” has been revoked. The said credit institution has been placed under special liquidation in accordance with Article 68 of the Law 3601/2007.

Mrs. Margarita Malli has been appointed as ‘Special Liquidator' according to the Resolution No. 60/18.1.2013 of the “Committee on Credit & Insurance Issues” of the Bank of Greece (Meeting 60/18.1.2013 Agenda item 1, Official Government Gazette, Issue B' 76/18.1.2013).

Following the Decision of the Minister of Finance (No. 2124/B95/18.1.2013) a new interim credit institution (“bridge bank”) has been established, which will operate under the trade name “NEW TT HELLENIC POSTBANK S.A.” The said new credit institution has been granted a banking license by the Bank of Greece (Resolution No. 7/18.1.2013 of the “Resolution Measures Committee” of the Bank of Greece, Meeting 7/18.1.2013) and was capitalized by the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund, which will be its sole shareholder as per Law 3601/2007.
