PROLONGATION OF THE CAPACITY TO ACT AS MARKET MAKER

The company VIOHALCO, HELLENIC COPPER AND ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY S.A., listed in the Athens Exchange, (the “Issuer”) would like to inform the investors that, after a relevant application of the company “MERIT SECURITIES AEPEY”, the Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange, following its resolution dated 12/12/2012, approved that the company “MERIT SECURITIES AEPEY” could continue to act in its capacity as Market Maker of the “Issuer's” shares, for one (1) more year, namely from 13/12/2012 until 12/12/2013.
