Under the provisions of Term 5.3.5 of the Prospectus dated June 6, 2008 relating to Capital Securities issued in 2008 (CPBCS), the payment of interest for the period September 30 to December 30, 2012 is hereby postponed.

Additionally, the Bank operates under conditions which are dictated by European Union legislation relating to state aid and is subject to relevant prohibitions regarding interest payment in relation to capital.
