Pursuant to Law 3556/2007 and the ATHEX Regulation, General Bank of Greece S.A. (“GENIKI Bank”) announces following the notification it received from Piraeus Bank S.A on 30 November 2012, that, on 30 November 2012, Piraeus Bank S.A purchased 1,729,725 ordinary registered shares of  GENIKI Bank, corresponding to approximately 9.99% of GENIKI Bank's share capital and voting rights. As a result of such purchase, Piraeus Bank S.A stake and voting rights in Geniki Bank amounts approximately to 9.99%.
