UPDATE RELATED TO AL-ANBAR PROJECT IN IRAQ

Further to the announcement dated 25 April 2013 concerning contract award of the Al-Anbar project in Iraq, and recent press reports concerning discussions of METKA with the Chinese construction company “SEPCO”, the company confirms that such discussions are indeed ongoing with respect to potential collaboration for the project.

It is clarified that the discussions are with the company named SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Corporation (SEPCOIII) based in Qingdao, China.  SEPCOIII was formed in 1985 and has successfully constructed 30,000MW of power generation capacity in China and has 20,000MW either completed or under construction in several international markets including Saudi Arabia, Oman and Jordan within the Middle East region.      

A further announcement will be made upon successful conclusion of contract negotiations for the project.
