Announcement.
Pursuant to the resolution No. 3/347/12.07.2005 of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, "Emporiki Bank of Greece S.A." (Emporiki) announces that it was informed by "Credit Agricole S.A." (Offeror) about the launch of the voluntary tender offer (Public Offer) pursuant to Law 3461/2006 (Law).
The Public Offer relates to the acquisition of Emporiki s shares not held directly by the Offeror and Sacam International on 23.05.2011.
Pursuant to the Law, Emporiki will appoint its financial advisor and will duly convene its Board of Directors in order to issue its justified opinion on the Public Offer.
