FIRST HALF 2015 FINANCIAL RESULTS
The EL.TECH. ANEMOS Group of companies announces its financial results for the period January 1st to June 30th 2015, in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (I.F.R.S.).
The consolidated turnover amounted to Euro 19.2 million compared to Euro 16.9 million during the same period of 2014, increased by 13.3%, due to better wind performance data.
Consequently, EBITDA amounted to Euro 14.5 million, compared to Euro 12.0 million for the same period of 2014, while EBIT amounted to Euro 10.6 million, compared to Euro 7.8 million for the 1st half of 2014. EBITDA and EBIT margins were increased from 70.7% to 75.4%, and from 46.2% to 55.4% respectively.
Consolidated profit after tax (net profit) amounted to Euro 4.6 million, compared to Euro 3.3 million during the corresponding period of 2014, of which the attributable amount to the parent company is Euro 4.3 million, compared to Euro 3.1 million in the 1st half of 2014.
Consolidated net profit per share amounted to Euro 0.0515 compared to Euro 0.0500 for the same period of 2014.
Consolidated net debt (total loans minus cash, cash equivalents and restricted deposits, financial assets held to maturity) decreased to Euro 96.0 million, compared to Euro 104.3 million on December 31st 2014.
In reference to the parent company, the total turnover amounted to Euro 17.5 million, compared to Euro 15.5 million in the same 6-month period of 2014. EBITDA amounted to Euro 13.2 million, compared to Euro 11.0 of the same period of 2014, while EBIT amounted to Euro 9.6 million, compared to Euro 7.2 million of the first six-month period of 2014. Profits after tax (net profits) amounted to Euro 3.9 million, compared to Euro 3.0 million in the same period of 2014, and net profit per share amounted to Euro 0.0474, compared to 0.0484 for January-June period of 2014.
It has to be noted that following the commissioning of Ortholithi wind farm within the 1st half of 2015, the total installed capacity of EL.TECH. ANEMOS Group of companies is 191.45 MW, comprising of thirteen (13) wind farms of 184.50 MW, one (1) small hydroelectric project of 4.95 MW and one (1) photovoltaic project of 2.00 MWp. In middle-August 2015 the extension (16.10 MW) of Magoula-Kazakou wind farm (in Evros area) started trial operation, thus increasing the Group's total installed capacity to almost 208 MW.
Today, two (2) wind parks with a total installed capacity of 58 MW are in stage of construction. In addition, projects of a total installed capacity of 775 MW are at various stages of the licensing process, 240 MW of which have environmental conditions approval.
