According to decision No 3/347/12.07.05 made by the BoD of the Capital Market Commission, Emporiki Bank of Greece S.A. announces that its Board of Directors, during its meeting of June 25, 2008, elected, in replacement of the resigned Executive Member of the BoD Mr. Pierre-Rene-Henri Harang, Mr. Jean-Francois Marchal, Bank Executive, as a new Non-Executive Member of the BoD, for the remaining term of the member who resigned, expiring on the day, that the initial or after postponement Ordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the year 2011 will be held. It should be noted that Mr. P. Harrang remains Corporate and Investment Banking General Manager.
