Altec SA, as major shareholder of Microland S.A., announces to the investment public, that ASE Board of Directors, with the decision taken on July 24th 2008, approved BETA SECURITIES S.A. as "Microland's S.A." shares Market Maker, towards improving shares' liquidity and defined the 5th of August 2008 as starting date for the above action. For market making purposes, in relation with the contingent risks undertaken by the Market Maker, Altec SA has signed a contract with BETA SECURITIES S.A. according to which, there is an obligation to proceed into repurchase agreements' contracts, to the Athens Derivatives market.
