Nireus SA announces that the regular tax audit of the Company for the fiscal years 2005, 2006 and 2007 was completed, including the audit of IXTHYOFARMA SA (for fiscal years 2001 and 2002) that merged with the Company in 2002. The audit judged the books of the company to be sufficient and correct, and no irregularities or omissions were noted that would affect their validity. The audit resulted in an additional tax charge of Euro 1,845,792,80 that will affect the results of current fiscal year. This charge was settled in a single instalment by netting off with part of the VAT receivable. The amount of the remaining VAT receivable for the current fiscal year amounts to Euro 7,887,419.49.
