Announcement
Within the scope of proper and timely update of the investors and in accordance with the decisions of the Shareholders Extraordinary General Meeting dated 13 June 2008, in conjunction with the re-incorporation of the Board of Directors into a body dated 2 July 2008, Mr. Christos Sorotos has undertaken the position of the Managing Director of ASPIS BANK ATE.
Mr. Christos Sorotos is a graduate from the Economic Sciences Department of the Athens University Law School and until recently he has been Citibank's General Manager for Greece and Cyprus. Moreover, he has previously held the positions of General Manager in EFG Eurobank, Deputy-Governor of the National Bank of Greece and General Manager of the Bank of America for Greece and Cyprus.
The position of Managing Director is of an executive nature and, according to the General Meeting decisions, covers the business development of the Bank, the approval of long-term investing initiatives, the structural effectiveness and the improvement of the Bank's productivity and profitability.
Under the Managing Director fall the below mentioned services:
1) The Retail Banking General Directorate, having Mrs. Olga Psomiadi as General Manager,
2) The Business Banking General Directorate, having Mr. Periklis Chanakis as General Manager,
3) The Financial Services and Capital Market General Directorate, having Mr. Diomides Nikoletopoulos as General Manager,
4) The Operational Support General Directorate, having Mr. Nikolaos Mallouchos as General Manager and
5) The Human Resources General Directorate, having Mrs. Charoula Lipowatz as General Manager.
The General Manager Mr. Georgios Dagiantis left his position as General Manager
The General Mannager Mr. I. Filos have left the Bank.
Mr. Athanassios Kechris has undertaken the position of Head of the Internal Control Directorate.
In addition, the following also fall directly under the Managing Director:
- The Risk Measurement Directorate, having Mr. I.Leventidis as Manager and
- The Regulations Compliance Directorate, having Mr. Spyros Gouglias as Manager.
