Financial Results for the first quarter 2014

The consolidated financial statements of Inform Lykos are published todayMay 30th 2014, according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (I.F.R.S.) and include the companies: INFORM P. LYKOS S.Α., LYKOS PAPERLESS SOLUTIONS S.Α., ALBANIAN DIGITAL PRINTING SOLUTIONS Sh.p.k., as well as the consolidated financial statements of TERRANELTD(INFORM LYKOS SA -Romania) and SAGIME GmbH (AUSTRIACARDGmbH -Austria).

For the first quarter 2014, the sales of the Group increased by 20,7% compared to the corresponding quarter 2013, and reached € 29,6 mil. from €  24,5 mil. This increase mainly came fromAustriaand the strengthening of the sales of cards inEastern Europeand was incidental to the improvement in operating results of the Group, where the earnings before income tax, interest, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased by € 0,8 mil., or 46,6% and reached € 2,5 mil. compared to € 1,7 mil. in the corresponding quarter 2013.

Especially by excluding the intercompany transactions, the sales of the parent company INFROM P. LYKOSS.A., increased by 3,8% compared to the corresponding quarter 2013 and reached € 8,1 mil. from € 7,8 mil..  This increase was primarily due to the new projects in the Banking Sector which will be fully operational later in 2014. The sales of the subsidiary inRomaniaincreased by 12,9% compared to the corresponding quarter 2013 and reached € 6 mil. from €5,3 mil, due to the new projects in statement printing and mailing services in the Telecom Sector.  Finally, the sales of the subsidiary inAustriareached € 15,3 mil. compared to € 11,3 mil. in the corresponding quarter 2013, increased by 35,4%.

Therefore, the main profitability figures of the Group are presented improved as following:

• Earnings before income tax, interest, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of the Group improved by € 0,8 mil. or 46,6%  and reached € 2,5 mil. compared to € 1,7 mil. in the corresponding quarter 2013,
• Earnings before income tax, interest (EBIT), increased by € 0,8 mil. or 229,6%  and reached € 1,2 mil. compared to  € 0,4 mil. in the corresponding quarter 2013,
• Earnings before taxes (EBT) of the Group, reached € 0,9 mil. from € 0,1 mil. in the corresponding quarter 2013, improved by € 0,8 mil. or 673,4%,
• Earnings after taxes (EAT), reached € 0,8 mil. from losses € 0,2 mil. in the corresponding quarter 2013, increased by € 1 mil. or 560,7%.

The operating cash flow of the Group for the first quarter 2014 was negative € 2,4 mil. compared to negative € 2,2 mil in the corresponding quarter 2013, mainly due to the increased working capital needs inAustria, both from stock creation for the smooth functioning of sales in the coming months, and the increase in receivables due to increased sales. The cash & cash equivalents reached € 2,4 mil. from € 3,9 mil. in the corresponding quarter 2013, and the bank debt of the Group reached € 37,4 mil. from € 28 mil. in the corresponding quarter 2013, increased by € 9,4 mil. due to the increased needs for stocks inAustria, as well as for the investments for the operation of the new centers of production and personalization of cards inRomania,TurkeyandPoland.
