In response to the document under Prot. No. 955/27.2.2008 of Capital Market Committee, in connection to the publication of "Capital" according to which "there is interest for the purchase /acquisition of the bank "by three foreign groups and their interest has the form of initial intentions for the major shareholders of the Bank, Aspis Bank informs the investors, that the major shareholders of the Bank have officially informed that they discuss with foreign groups for the purchase/acquisition of either a majority share package of the Bank, or the drawing of a strategic cooperation framework along with the concurrent acquisition of a participation/stake in the Bank's share capital. No discussion has been finalized, and no relevant financial audit or legal review has been conducted.
For any development which might interest the investors, a relevant announcement shall be issued early enough and in compliance with the provisions of the legislation in force.
