PROTON Bank S.A. announces a change in its Board of Directors. In particular, on the Board meeting of August 19^th 2011, Messrs Konstantinos Karamanis, Georgios Milonas, Katia Beritsi (Ms), Dimitrios Repas, Dimitrios Alexakis and Nikos Koutsos were elected as new members for the remaining BoD tenure, in replacement of resigned members.

The new ten members’ Board of Directors of Proton Bank S.A., thanked the retiring members and then was convened as a body, in accordance with law 3016/2002, as follows:

1.      Konstantinos Karamanis, Chairman, Non-Executive Member

2.      Georgios Milonas, Vice-Chairman, Executive Member

3.      Georgios Taniskidis, Managing Director, Executive Member

4.      Katia Beritsi, Non-Executive Member

5.      Dimitrios Repas, Non-Executive Member

6.      Dimitrios Alexakis, Non-Executive Member

7.      Nikos Koutsos, Non-Executive Member

8.      Alexandros (Allan) Alexiadis, Non-Executive Member

9.      Konstantinos Kastrinakis, Non-Executive Member

10.  Evangelos Papaevangelou, Non-Executive Member

Mr. Emmanouel Tsiritakis remains in the Board of Directors as representative of the Greek State. Together with the re-constitution of the Bank’s Board of Directors and in addition to the existing representative of Greek State to all banks, pursuant to Law 3723/2008, Mr. Theofanis Saxonis is appointed as the representative of the Bank of Greece.
