Mr. Pantelis Lamprou, has been an executive of the Hellenic Exchanges Group of Companies (HELEX) for the past thirteen years. He is currently the Director of Compliance & Risk Management. During his tenure with the Group, he has held the positions of Director of Clearing & Risk Management at Athens Exchange Clearing House SA (ATHEXClear, a HELEX subsidiary), Director of Business Products Development, Director of Market Operation in Athens Exchange SA, Project Manager of the OASIS project (central trading system for stocks, bonds and derivatives), Head of Financial and Capital Markets Dept. and was responsible for the provision of Consulting Services in Capital Markets in the region.

He began his professional career in 1989 in the computer industry, working in development projects at the Computer Technology Institute (CTI, Academic R&D Institute), at InfoQuest SA as Product Manager and Sales Engineer and at the Rainbow SA Group of Companies (Apple Computers) as Business Manager.

He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and of the INSEAD Alumni Association. He sat on the Boards of Directors of private & state owned companies, was a member of the Board of students' society of the Computer Engineering Dept., and a member of the Scientific Committee of Greek Computer Engineers.

Mr. Lamprou was born in 1966. He holds a degree (with distinction) from the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics of the University of Patras. He is a graduate of the International Executive Program (Fontainebleau & Singapore) of the INSEAD Business School and speaks Greek (native) and English (fluently). He is married and has one daughter and one son.
