First Quarter 2015 Financial Results

The EL.TECH. ANEMOS Group of companies announces its financial results for the period January 1st to March 31st 2015, in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (I.F.R.S.).

The consolidated turnover amounted to Euro 11.7 million compared to Euro 9.8 million during the same period of 2014, increased by 18.9%, mainly due to better wind performance data.

Consequently, EBITDA amounted to Euro 9.0 million, compared to Euro 6.5 million for the same period of 2014, while EBIT amounted to Euro 7.2 million, compared to Euro 4.0 million for the 1st quarter of 2014.  EBITDA and EBIT margins were increased from 66.0% to 76.6%, and from 40.6% to 61.2% respectively.

Consolidated profit after tax (net profit) amounted to Euro 4.2 million, compared to Euro 1.9 million during the corresponding period of 2014, of which the attributable amount to the parent company is Euro 3.9 million, compared to Euro 1.8 million in the 1st quarter of 2014.

Consolidated net profit per share amounted to Euro 0.0475 compared to Euro 0.0285 for the same period of 2014.

Consolidated net debt (total loans minus cash, cash equivalents and restricted deposits, financial assets held to maturity) decreased to Euro 99.5 million, compared to Euro 104.3 million on December 31st 2014. 

In reference to the parent company, the total turnover amounted to Euro 10.7 million, compared to Euro 9.0 million in the same 3-month period of 2014. EBITDA amounted to Euro 8.1 million, compared to Euro 5.9 of the same period of 2014, while EBIT amounted to Euro 6.5 million, compared to Euro 3.6 million of the first three-month period of 2014. Profits after tax (net profits) amounted to Euro 3.6 million, compared to Euro 1.8 million in the same period of 2014, and net profit per share amounted to Euro 0.0441, compared to 0.0284 for January-March period of 2014.

It has to be noted that the total installed capacity of EL.TECH. ANEMOS Group of companies is 171 MW, comprising of twelve (12) wind farms of 163.8 MW, one (1) small hydroelectric project of 4.95 MW and one (1) photovoltaic project of 2 MWp. Today, four (4) wind parks with a total installed capacity of 94 MW are in stage of construction, one (1) of which (Ortholothi, 20.7 MW) is in trial operation, while a second one (Magoula expansion, 16.1 MW) is in advanced stage of construction.  In addition, projects of a total installed capacity of 775 MW are at various stages of the licensing process, 240 MW of which have environmental conditions approval.
