METAL CONSTRUCTIONS OF GREECE (METKA) S.A. (the "Company"), seeking to provide its shareholders with continuous and topical information in line with Presidential Decree (PD) 82/1996, announces its intention to participate (either individually or as a member of consortia or associations)  in the tender procedures for the award of work, supply and service contracts conducted by the Hellenic State or by the legal persons of the Greek Public or wider Public Sector, as the latter is specified in article 2 of Law 3310/2005, as amended by Law 3414/2005, article 9 par. 1 of Law 1232/1982 and article 1 par. 6 of Law 1256/1982, as in force.

In addition to the above general announcement, the Company hereby also specifically announces its intention to participate, either individually or as a consortium member, to the tender procedure published on 04.02.2014 by the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRDF) S.A. by means of its Request for the submission of binding proposals for the conclusion of a "Services concession agreement regarding maintenance and operation of the Cluster A and Cluster B regional airports of the Hellenic Republic", with a submission date of 30.09.2014 or such other date as may result from a postponement of the aforementioned date.

To this end, soci?t?s anonymes which are Company shareholders are requested to proceed to register their shares to natural persons within the meaning of PD 82/1996 and to supply the Company with the information required in order to determine their individual shareholders. The aforementioned PD stipulates that where such shareholders fail to comply with this requirement, i.e. where that have not registered their shares to natural persons ? within the meaning of the aforementioned PD ? the sanctions provided for under article 2 par. 2 and par. 3 of PD 82/1996 are the following: (a) Deprivation of their right to attend and vote of such shareholders in the General Meeting of the Company's Shareholders, and (b) deprivation of all their property rights deriving from their capacity of shareholders.

These rights are regained only if the above shareholders register their shares and supply the information required in order to determine their individual shareholders which are soci?t?s anonymes within the meaning of article 1 par. 5 of PD 82/96.

It is noted that the Company has already complied with this obligation before participating for the first time in tender procedures for the award of public works contracts, in accordance with the provisions of the above PD.
