Geniki Bank S.A. replying to the letter received from Hellenic Capital Market Commission, regarding the announcements published to the press, informs its investment community that Geniki Bank S.A. is currently undergoing an organizational transformation aiming to create a structure which will support and promote its future course and operational evolution while a new management team was only recently appointed.

The Bank aims to bolster its activities through international business cooperations and to this end we have made exploratory approaches, which are however at a very preliminary stage. As confirmed to us by our parent company “Piraeus Bank S.A.”, at this point there is no event which should be disclosed to the investment community in respect of Geniki Bank S.A.
