Nexans Hellas S.A. announces that pursuant to decisions of its Board of Directors, which met on September 3, 2015, the executive functions and employment of Mr. George Karakostas were terminated by Nexans Hellas with immediate effect. Through a resolution adopted on the same day, Mr. Christof Josef Barklage was elected Managing Director, Mr. Henrik Desfontaines was elected Vice - Chairman and Mr. Stephane Iliades was appointed as the company's new General Manager. Mr. Stephane Illiades, has extensive experience at Danone and Coca-Cola amongst other companies.

On the same date, the BoD decided to convene a General Meeting of the shareholders for October 6, 2015, where the shareholders will vote on a proposal for a new board to include Mr. Illiades in the place of Mr. Karakostas.
