IASO S.A. after relevant question of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, with regards to the press publication titled "IASO: Over 90 millions the investment in Southern Suburbs", which was published on May 16th 2008 in the webpage "www.euro2day", announces to the investment community the following:
The IASO Group, according to previous announcements of our company, published on 4.7.2007 and 3.10.2007 in the webpage of Athens Exchange S.A., has plainly and clearly declared its explicit interest and intention of creating a hospital in the Southern Suburbs. More specifically, it had signed a memorandum of collaboration with the "Charagioni" group for the construction of a new clinic in real estate that they owe. Although, the force of the memorandum of collaboration with the Charagioni group has expired, Management continues the discussions with the above-mentioned group, as well as with owners of similar real estate, in the wider region aiming always at finding a suitable land plot.
Regarding the amount of the aforementioned investment , we wish to clarify the following:
In our announcement dated on 4.10.2007, we had mentioned that the investment (only) for, the plot, the building and electromechanical installations of the clinic would reach the amount of 66 mill. Euro. In the publication of 16.05.2008, it is reported that the total investment will exceed 90 mills. Euro. This estimate will also be considerably affected by the cost of the plot that will be finally selected.
