EUROMEDICA S.A. would like to inform its shareholders and investing public that its subsidiary EUROPROCUREMENT, which is under EUROMEDICA's total control, has acquired a 49% holding in the company Euromedica Eastern Attica S.A.
Euromedica Eastern Attica S.A. has been operating a diagnostic centre at Pikermi in Attica since March 2008, which possesses an MRI scanner, radiology department, ultrasound department, microbiology department, mammography scanner, bone densitometer, biochemistry department and a cardiology department. The total sum paid by EUROPROCUREMENT S.A. for the said holding amounts to 891,800 Euros, while the company's remaining 51% belongs to distinguished medical doctors.
Through this holding, the EUROMEDICA group has increased the number of its diagnostic centres nationally to 41. It currently owns 18 diagnostic centres in Attica (two of which are soon to commence operation), 5 in Thessaloniki, including the EUROGENETIKI laboratory, 2 in Crete, 3 in Volos and one in each of the following cities: Larissa, Ptolemaida, Kozani, Serres, Alexandroupoli, Trikala, Corinth, Mytilene, Katerini, Kastoria, Kavala and Corfu.
